Katie & Jeff contacted me last minute as they were having a Hong Kong elopement and needed a photographer to document the occasion. Working in TV has prepared me for the last minute so I was more than happy to help them out!
We met at The Renaissance Harbour View Hotel in the morning and I was there to capture them saying their vows. As the only witness it was a real humbling experience to see the love between them being played out right in front of me.
After the vows we headed out for a little tour of Hong Kong catching the Star Ferry over to Tsim Sha Tsui. Being a Thursday it was quiet on the streets of TST where we stopped to overlook the HK skyline. Afterwards we got some lovely pics in some of the quieter areas of Kowloon Park and ended at one of my favorite places – the Chinese garden in the middle of the park.
I got some really intimate shots and it was such a privilege to be there to witness this special day in Katie & Jeff’s lives. Best bits below…
