Patricia & pate’s wedding took place at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in HK which is a magnificent building tucked into the heart of HK’s skyscrapers.
After bridal prep at The Murray Hotel, I waited outside the Cathedral for the bride Patricia to arrive… but to no avail 😬!
After 15 mins we wondered if they got lost but then Danielle and her Mum & Dad appeared exhausted up the hill. The road to the Cathedral was blocked by a bus and the bridal car couldn’t get through – so they had to get out and walk the last few hundred yards uphill – quite an ordeal in a a wedding dress …but we were all there on time!
The ceremony was a very special occasion and afterwards we headed to Hong Kong Yacht Club for the wedding reception. This was the first wedding they had done since the refurbishment and it looked great. Guests had drinks on the terrace before heading inside for the banquet.
And then the dancing – I’ve never seen so many moves! The Spanish really know how to bust a boogie on the dance floor!
Thanks so much to Patricia & Pete for letting me cover your beautiful day!
